oh ym god you have no idea what you are talking about... i had pierced the undertoung frenulum and than later on torn it. no swallowing of the tounge.

nO you can do that. My friend's didn't develop until she was about 12 and she would gag on her tongue sometimes, but yeah she can stick her tongue out really far and touch her tonsils with her tongue.

You cant do this, (and it heal) for the same reason that if you pierce your tongue it wont heal. Your tongue doesn't heal. your tongue does heal. my ex bf had a fit and bit off a chunk of his tongue. it grew back and healed fine.

You can get your tongue web cut, if your tongue is too short. And I have my tongue web pierced, it's healed.

Gene Simmons had his frenulum removed, actually, and he has not choked on his tongue. I'm sure it increases the risk but don't make medical claims you can't support.

Also, your tongue heals quicker than most other parts of your body. That's why if you bite your tongue it's a bitch for a couple days then goes away. If you bite your finger, it hurts much longer and might even scar. Dick.
