nO you can do that. My friend's didn't develop until she was about 12 and she would gag on her tongue sometimes, but yeah she can stick her tongue out really far and touch her tonsils with her tongue.

You cant do this, (and it heal) for the same reason that if you pierce your tongue it wont heal. Your tongue doesn't heal. You can get your tongue web cut, if your tongue is too short. And I have my tongue web pierced, it's healed.
